COMMUNION

As we take communion our hearts feed upon His love, His care, His
thoughtfulness, and responds with thanksgiving and adoration.  Our wills
feed upon His commands, and we begin to recognize that His Word is to
be obeyed; we bow before the soverign will of God.  Our soul hopes in the
fulfillment of His promises that have never yet failed throughout
history.

As you partake of the bread and wine, He sees your soul feeding upon
Him with thanksgiving that He loved you and died for you, that He protects
and guides you, and that one day He will take you safely home.  As you
meditate upon these things, your soul is refreshed, your heart begins to take
comfort and courage, and your mind accepts the Word of God and begins to
meditate upon it and to rejoice in it.

Where is the hunger of your heart satisfied, its thirst quinched?  Is
it in the loveliness of your dear Saviour?

A SONG

If I could sing a song of love
I'd tell Him how much it has meant
To be near, to be dear
To His Son ~ the One He sent ...
into my life!
